Since we know the great heat inside our earth, over untold millennia, turned plant matter into the hydrocarbons we’re taking out today, it follows that heat (at greatly varying temperatures) will transform our crude into the elements we feed into our chemical and plastic industries. The lower temps for first breakdown of crude into diesel & naphtha are just the beginning…! Our chemists have taken hydrocarbon processing to amazing heights.!
