5. Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil
"Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil" is a Malayalam comedy film directed by Vipin Das. The movie stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph in the main roles. After Amy Winehouse passed away in July 2011, many filmmakers wanted to make movies about her life, but none of them happened. In 2018, Amy Winehouse's family said they had agreed to make a movie about her life and career. In July 2022, StudioCanal started making the movie, and they filmed it in London from January to April 2023.
The movie came out in theatres in Australia on April 11, 2024, and in the United Kingdom on April 12, 2024. In the United States, Focus Features will release the movie on May 17, 2024.
