It’s a perfect set of doubles for Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian. The tennis legend and the tech entrepreneur have welcomed their second daughter to the world — a bundle of joy named Adira, meaning “strong and powerful.”
“Welcome my beautiful angel,” the proud mama wrote in the caption of a TikTok video of the family with the new baby on Tuesday, as the song “Beautiful” by Bazzi plays in the background.
Shortly after, the 40-year-old Reddit co-founder shared an Instagram post featuring a series of family photos with the newborn.
“Welcome, Adira River Ohanian,” he wrote. “I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy and healthy newborn girl and happy and healthy mama.”
“@serenawilliams you’ve now given me another incomparable gift — you’re the GMOAT [greatest mom of all time],” he lauded the 23-time Grand Slam winner, already known as The GOAT.
“Thanks to all the amazing medical staff who took care of my wife and our daughter,” Ohanian continued. “I’ll never forget the moment I introduced [daughter Olympia] to her baby sister.”
Williams, 41, publicly shared she was expecting another baby as she attended this year’s Met Gala in New York City on May 1.
“Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the three of us to the Met Gala,” Williams wrote in an Instagram caption, alongside images of her baby bump.
Williams and Ohanian married in 2017, the same year their first daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. was born.
