The cruise set off prior to virus and went well until half way round when virus caught up with us it then became a mystery tour which p & o dealt with in a brilliant way. The boat was a bit old and other were buckets around catching drips, but it didn't interfer with anything. Restaurant was excellent good service and food. The self service restaurant was ok breakfast was really good, so was

Arcadia is my favourite ship. I have sailed on Cunard QM2 but on that 7 days was too many.Arcadia may not be perfect the buckets are still about but she has a soul and the friendliest most helpful crew at sea.Embarkation was a bit slow as there were visas to check and a new online check in system was being trialled. It is the only time my luggage has beat me to the cabin!!! Our cabin

This is an honest, tell it how it is review. Being wholly objective, it may also carry a little excess baggage as I, a 63 year old, grappling with the transition from being a 2-4 week holidaymaker to a world traveller! Passengers who joined the ship for a three week leg, might view the ship’s offerings and routines as fresh and new. Such customers might reasonably be considered as

This was to be our holiday of our lifetime and had spent many years saving up for it. We had previously sailed with Princes cruises for several weeks at a time and it was marvellous and could not fault it, from the crew to the entertainment as well as the food. As soon as we went on board, we were disappointed, it looked so drab and unwelcoming, whereas on Princess, when you enter the ship, you

We recently completed Arcadia’s Western Circumnavigation – 99 nights, 100 days, a Super Blue Blood Moon and around 40,000 statute miles. A totally splendid voyage, many thanks to the crew and all the friends that we made. We hope the following will be of help to other travellers; In no particular order;•Our inside cabin had limited storage especially in the bathroom – on a long voyage

First experience of cruising for more than 17 nights. This cruise was. 44 nights with 4 night stay in Sydney. The cruise was great. A few days of rough weather over bay of biscay (as expected). Sea sickness tablets worked a treat, There were two ports we had to abort because of bad weather: bay of islands and Tonga. This is something you have to expect when cruising which us beyond

Two captains, two deputy captains, two entertainment managers and eighty two nights later, we reflect on a much anticipated cruise experience.Positives:Arcadia is a comfortable ship...like an old armchair.Overall, the dining experience was good (Belvedere excluded).Entertainment; the Headliners Company were exceptional. Some wonderful ports of call Alotau, San Francisco, Napier,

Everything started well in Southampton with good embarkation. It was after we arrived at our cabin that we were told the dress code for this cruise had been changed. We had asked P&O more than once about this but they always insisted that the 3 dress codes would be in place until after the world cruise. When we arrived and then were told that the jacket required nights had been changed we were not

I wished to visit some of the itinerary. Unfortunately the cabin allotted to us was very noisy and we missed many a morning lecture due to loss of sleep. eventually we were moved but his occurred several times so we were not happy travellers.Staff were very good but food was not the usual standard expected from previous cruises.Lectures appeared mainly for men so I found the cruise
