Tennis players and their private jets (1)

Star tennis players spend their time travelling across the world competing in many high-profile tennis tournaments; therefore it is no surprise to learn that some of our favourite tennis players own private jets to make their frequent journeys as comfortable as possible.

For some of the biggest tennis stars, owning a private jet is just one of the many ways of enhancing a luxury lifestyle, and the ownership is seen as more of a hobby than a necessity.

Below, Tennis365 looks at some of the most famous tennis players and their private jets.

Roger Federer: Bombardier Challenger 350

Roger Federer is one of the most successful tennis players of all time, ranked world No.1 in singles by the ATP for 310 weeks and winning 20 singles grand slams throughout his tennis career.

Recently retiring from the sport in September 2022, Federer is now enjoying a relaxed and lavish lifestyle. As an Ambassador and Owner of the world’s largest private jet company, NetJets, he regularly enjoys chartering private jets for his own use.

Off the court, Nadal likes to keep his private life away from the spotlight and he spends a lot of time in his villa in Majorca, Spain.

It has been speculated that Nadal owns a Cessna Citation CJ2+ private jet which he purchased in 2010 for approximately $5million.

Before owning his own luxury jet, Nadal was known to fly coach class to tennis tournaments, until Federer gave him a “lift” in his private jet in 2010, and from then onwards, we believe he was sold.
