Hey @verizon @VerizonSupport service is absolutely terrible where I am. I'm at my parent's place and my dad has complains tons. Nothing is done and they tell him it's because there's lakes around him.

Pressing the "mute replace battery alarm" button is apparently an exercise in futility and while you can theoretically unplug the battery, doing so apparently requires more than just a pair of pliers. So, long story short, you need to get somebody from Verizon to come fix it.

In the process of switching to @Verizon and have literally been on hold with the activation line *in store* for 40+ minutes. Haven’t even become a full customer yet, and already seriously reconsidering “America’s most reliable network”.

@VZWSupport Appreciate the quick response. To be clear, if hold times of an hour are just “a bit higher than usual” your company has a *serious* customer service issue. After being on hold for 57minutes on the associates phone, & 30minutes on their work phone both calls ended no answer
