Does Wimbledon have strict dress code?
From the moment players step foot on Wimbledon courts — either for practice or official matches — they must be in all white, including tracksuits and sweaters, according to the dress code. And remember, “white does not include off white or cream.” It also does not include splashes of bold colors.
Although there is no specific dress code for Wimbledon goers, smart dress is encouraged.

Wimbledon dress code changes for 2023
The change to the dress code involves the women's wear. Female competitors are now allowed to wear solid, mid-to-dark colored undergarments, provided they are not longer than their white skirts or shorts.
As demonstrated by Jelena Ostapenko in the above photo, women are welcome to wear shorts if they want, there is no rule enforcing skirts upon them. The Wimbledon website simply states that 'competitors must be dressed in suitable tennis attire' and is then much more concerned about the colour rather than the style.
Overall, it's best to avoid anything too casual or revealing, such as t-shirts, shorts or flip-flops. Even if you have a general admission ticket, you need to dress nicely. By dressing smartly, you'll ensure that you perfectly fit in with the Wimbledon dress code and look fabulous while enjoying the championships.
